Yorktown is located at the crossroads of State Highways 72 and 119. Its halfway between Corpus Christi and Austin (about 100 miles to both), and is 80 miles southeast of San Antonio, 45 miles northwest of Victoria, and about halfway between Houston and Laredo (180 miles or so either way). An annual Western Days festival is always the 3rd full weekend in October and includes free admissionn, street dances, contests, bbq cookoffs, vendors, parades, a carnival, plus much more</p> </body>
