The event will be held in the City Park and have music, vendors, cookoff, car show, cornhole tournament, photo contest and games.
The Museum will be open abounding with Yorktown History.

✯ Photo Contest

A Photo Contest is being held in conjunction with Yorktown’s 175th Anniversary and everyone is welcome to submit photos.
Photos will be on exhibit at Yorktown’s Historical Museum on weekends - June 10 thru July 02.
Photos may be submitted regardless of age or level of skill in one of the following 3-divisions:
Adult * Youth – Grades 9th thru 12th * Youth – Up thru 8th Grade
Photos may be entered in the following categories:
Animals * Flowers/Plants * Landscape/Scenic * People/Portraits
Architecture * Miscellaneous
People’s Choice voting will determine winning photos.
Winners will be awarded ribbons.
A Special Award will be given to a People's Choice photo that portrays “All Around Yorktown”.
All entries are free.
For each photo entered, the photographer’s name will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card.
Deadline to enter is June 02, 2023.
Photos may be taken to the Yorktown City Hall (119 E Main St) Monday – Friday 8:30 to 4:30.
All photos should be matted to 11 x 14 & must include a 3 x 5 index card with the following information:
