The Grand Parade will be starting off at 10:30 AM on Main St. Billy Fischer will sing the National Anthem at the Grand Stand and William Potcinske will be singing it at Citizens bank. During the parade Vickie Cross will announce the entries at Citizens Bank. Barry Watson will begin the announcing at the Grand Stand until Pastor Mark Collins takes the mike. As Citizen of the Year chosen earlier this year by the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce at their annual banquet< Pastor Collins will be riding in the parade. Parade sponsors are the Andra and Kirby Wisian. Andra is a direct descendant of the Mueller family that founded Western Days back in 1958. Usually mounted on horseback they have chosen to ride in their own set of wheels. We appreciate their continued support and support their decision in lieu of the consistent drizzle we've been experiencing. Needless to say the show must go and activities may be dampened but the spirit of 60 years of Western Days will go on. We Look forward to seeing you there.
